Art 1 : Registration
All Mahana Surf School registrations must be made using the registration form (paper or online), which must be duly completed by the person concerned if they are over 18, or by their parents or legal guardian if they are under 18.
Payment for the service will be collected at the time of registration, for reservations made at the school reception.
For online bookings, a deposit of 30% of the total amount to be paid, per student or per group, will be required.
to pay online via a link to the Sumup platform.
The commitment to the service and its general terms and conditions of sale is validated by the payment of the deposit by the subscriber.
The balance of the course booked must be paid on the first visit to the school reception.
Payments can be made by credit card, cash or cheque.
Art 2: Cancellation of courses
In the event of adverse weather conditions (flat calm, strong winds, pollution, thunderstorms), courses may be suspended or cancelled at the instructor's discretion. They will then be postponed to a later date, in agreement with the trainees.
The facility can also issue a credit note with no expiration date, or issue a refund.
Lessons validated on the booking contract and not carried out due to the customer's absence will not be reimbursed under any circumstances.
Deposits are non-refundable.
Art 3: Liability of the structure - Insurance
Students will be looked after by Mahana Surf School, and therefore under the responsibility of the school's instructors, during the practical lessons on the beach. Each student must be in possession of his or her time card for each visit.
Mahana Surf School's civil liability with regard to its trainees ceases outside the hours mentioned in the training contract.
Parents must ensure that the planned service is maintained before leaving their child at the surf school.
Mahana Surf School is not responsible for the loss or theft of equipment on its premises.
Art 4 : Commitment of Mahana Surf School
Within the framework of the package chosen by the subscriber, Mahana Surf School undertakes to respect the quality charter of the "Ecole Française de Surf" label in terms of quality of welcome, teaching, supervision and safety.
All necessary equipment (wetsuits, boards, etc.) will be provided during class hours. However, they will be asked to respect the equipment, rinse it and put it away in accordance with teaching rules.
Art 5: Commitment of beneficiaries
Any reservation confirmed by our reception (by e-mail or sms) commits the beneficiary to the present service contract.
By signing up for one of the services offered by Mahana Surf School, participants accept the risks associated with surfing under normal conditions of practice, as well as the present general conditions of sale.
The student declares to be in good health and fit to surf.
- APPENDIX TO THESE RULES AND REGULATIONS
The Mahana Surf School reserves the right to provide trainees with any additional documents specific to its operations, notably specifying the types of services offered, their duration, their distribution over the week and their cost.
- RIGHT TO IMAGE
By registering yourself or your child, you authorize Mahana Surf School to take photos and videos and to publish images in which you appear in various media (written, electronic, audio-visual) for an unlimited period of time.
